<창조경륜 : comsilium Dei creationis>, 서철원 박사가 구성한 신학 이론. 하나님의 창조 경륜은 하나님이 자기 백성을 가지시고 그 백성 가운데 거하시며 찬양과 경배를 받으시는 것이다. (하나님론, 218). 창조주는 백성의 하나님이 되고 백성은 창조주 하나님의 언약 백성이 된다. 하나님은 창조경륜을 이루시기 위해 창조를 작정하시고 다스림과 또 보존 또 구원작정도 세우셨다. 

성경 역사에 관통하는 일관된 하나님의 기쁘신 뜻은 자기의 백성을 가지시는 것이다. 그리고 그들로부터 영광과 찬양을 받으시는 것이다. 세상 백성들이 하나님의 백성이 되고 하나님은 그들의 하나님이 되시는 것이다  (하나님론, 219).

칼빈은 타락에 선행하는 더 높은 하나님의 계획(altius Dei consilium), 먼 원인(causa remota), 하나님의 감추인 계획(arcanum Dei consilium)을 말했다.

the covenant of redemption—or in Latin, the pactum salutis

In Reformed theology, the pactum salutis has been defined as a pretemporal, intratrinitarian agreement between the Father and Son in which the Father promises to redeem an elect people.

In turn the Son volunteers to earn the salvation of his people by becoming incarnate...by acting as surety of the covenant of grace for and as mediator of the covenant of grace to the elect. In his active and passive obedience, Christ fulfills the conditions of the pactum salutis...ratifying the Father's promise, because of which the Father rewards the Son's obedience with the salvation of the elect. And because of this the Holy Spirit applies the Son's work to his people through the means of grace.

하나님께서는 그의 택함 받은 백성을 구속하시겠다는 삼위일체 하나님의 내재적 언약(intratrinitarian Covenant)인 ‘구속 언약’(the Covenant of Redemption)을 세우셨다. 이 언약은 성자 하나님의 사역을 통해 택하신 백성의 구속을 완성시킨다는 것이다.
